**COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT**

Dear Valued Clients,

Currently, as there is no Provincial Public Health mask mandate, please discuss your risk tolerance with your RMTC Therapist. Covid infections continue to be prevalent in the community and we will continue to monitor the situation and adjust accordingly.

If you have any symptoms of COVID, a cold, flu, gastroenteritis or any other infectious disease, DO NOT come into the Clinic. Please cancel your appointment online or contact the Clinic as soon as possible at booking@rutherfordmassage.ca. As per CMTO guidelines, we will be screening for symptoms when you arrive. As a good general infection prevention and control measure, it is advised to continue with hand washing/sanitizing before and after treatment.

Please wait 10 days from the first sign of COVID symptoms or positive test before returning to the Clinic for your massage therapy treatment.

If you have a close household contact who currently has COVID, please reschedule your appointment, monitor yourself for symptoms and wait 10 days before rebooking.

RMTC Cancellation Policy in effect. Please give 12 hour notice to change or cancel our appointment or a cancellation fee of $30 + HST can be applied.

As a group of Regulated Health Professionals, we, the Registered Massage Therapists at this clinic, believe our role is to facilitate self-healing. Beyond the basic training, we bring post-graduate skills in a variety of techniques.

We strive to treat you as an individual and with respect and integrity, developing a strong therapeutic relationship through assessment, plan creation, treatment and education in self-care. We welcome feedback on all aspects of your treatment.

Prior to your first visit, you will be emailed a Medical History form. The appointment, time reserved for you, includes a discussion of your health history, assessment, hands on treatment and self care recommendations. We discuss our proposed treatment, explain benefits, side effects, risks, alternatives and obtain consent.
